Job Description
Promote Diyar Telco Specific Managed Services to Telecom Players in the Middle East and Africa Regions and Identify suitable prospects and manage the sales cycle to successful closure in order to meet the Company Sales Targets.
Job responsibilities:
- Establish deep understanding for Diyar Telco specific managed services offering
- Identify and build prospects list from the Telecom organizations in the Middle East and Africa region for Infrastructure Management, Application Management, and Application Development, Security Management etc..
- Identify the customer needs and pain points and actively present the managed service offering to prospects
- Effectively communicate the benefits of the managed services offering
- Establish in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape and work with the team to keep improving Diyar competitive position
- Establish close relationship with multiple key stakeholders in the target organizations
- Establish strong relationships with industry vendors and influencers and build an echo-system that helps Diyar sell the managed services offerings
- Work with Bids and other internal teams to answer RFPs and RFIs and prepare proposals
- Effectively manage the sales cycle from account planning, sales forecasting, engaging cross-functional resources and working with the multiple teams to ensure alignment across the organizations
- Provide sales leadership and manage large, sophisticated sales opportunities
- Be Self Sufficient, Team Player and possess an entrepreneur spirit
Skills
- Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related field or higher
- Minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience
- Should possess a strong network and already in strong relationship with decision makers (like CIOs, CTOs,) in many of the Telecom companies in the GCC
- Strong experience in sales and business development with proven record of large sales in the Telecom Industry
- Knowledge of the Telecom domain, main players and their challenges
- Experience in Telecom Systems and Applications
- Experience in Managed Services lifecycle
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency
- Ability to work proactively, independently, and as part of a team
- Preferably, strong technical background
- English is mandatory with Arabic and French preferable
